I work on piano keys at Brigham Larson Pianos. One day as I was walking back into the part of the shop to work on the keys some more I saw a piano being suspended from the ceiling beams. Now you‘re probably wondering "why is the piano being suspended to the ceiling?". Well the answer is the key bed on the piano needed to come off and it wasn’t going to come off easily. The glue was really tough glue. So Brigham, along with several other shop technicians, not only suspended the piano from the ceiling till it was barely hovering over the piano dolly; also used a clamp and mallets to get it to come off. It was really cool to watch something we don’t typically do.
But, my favorite part about this is watching our team come together to problem solve and to get things done. No pianos or people were harmed in the process. Our team is the best team I could have ever asked for. When a problem arises we rise together and that’s what a true team does. We are problem solvers and we get creative. We have each other’s backs and we give it our all. We all bring something to the table, have unique qualities, talents, and a lot to offer. And we get the chance put that into practice and use. I have the one of coolest jobs and team ever! We‘re like a big happy family and I feel like I belong. So if you need a team to take care of your piano we got you! Your piano and keys are in good hands.
